Taranaki PR, born May 2, 2000, 16.1 hh dappled liver chestnut, Dutch Warmblood  mare, by the imported Dutch Warmblood stallion Kanador (Nimmerdor/Lucky Boy/ Marco Polo/Sinaeda) out of the imported Dutch Warmblood Star mare Jildau (Slaney/Wisconsin/Nimmerdor).

Taranaki PR was bred by AI to the imported Dutch Warmblood stallion Justice (Cocktail/Wolfgang) and produced the colt Zorro PR. She was bred again in 2005 with frozen semen to Damiro and produced the filly Bayah PR.

Taranaki PR (Niki) is a lovely mare with a beautiful head and neck, very expressive gaits and a super personality. She carries some of the oldest bloodlines in the KWPN Registry which makes her a very valuable addition to any broodmare band.

Taranaki PR is lovely to ride, works well at training level dressage and has impressive style and scope over fences. Taranaki PR has show experience. At the BCHJA Jumper/Hunter show in Maple Ridge she went clear in the Power and Speed and placed second in the 2’9” Speed class, losing to her son Zorro PR by .01 second.
